Hopper’s Nyack: Flash Sketch Mob
Celebrating a Community Vision at the Nyack Library
About the Program
Hopper’s Nyack Sketch Mob, organized by the Edward Hopper House Museum and led by Bill Batson in 2024 and 2025, brought together artists of all skills and ages to respond to their environment and capture the intersection of history and contemporary life.
By focusing on locations featured in the Edward Hopper House Walking Tour, available on the Museum’s free Bloomberg Connects Guide, these creators followed in the footsteps of Hopper himself.
Just as Edward Hopper found profound inspiration in his hometown Nyack, these works offer a fresh, modern lens on the world he once saw. We invite you to explore these views and find inspiration in the environment around you.
