Residents of the following locations are eligible for full library privileges (borrowing materials, reference services, interlibrary loan, and use of the facilities):
Nyack, Upper Nyack, South Nyack, and Grandview, as well as Upper Grandview and Central Nyack residents who are residents of the Nyack Union Free School District.
An application for a library card may be made at the Circulation Desk or by using our online form.
Adults must provide 2 forms of ID:
- (1) a photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, and
- (2) a proof of address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, pay stub, car registration, or other official document with your name and current Nyack address.
Please note:
- Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian).
- Children between the ages of 13 and 18 must provide a photo ID or proof of enrollment in the Nyack School District.
- If applying online, you will be contacted to come to the library with a picture ID and proof of address to complete the registration process.
- PO Box holders must provide proof of residency.
- New library cards will be mailed to patrons within seven days of registration.
