Volunteer at the Library
The Adult Services Department is not currently accepting volunteers. Please check back for updates.
The Nyack Library welcomes teen and adult volunteers in grades 7 and up when opportunities are available.
Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers may assist with shelf maintenance, general support, and other library tasks. To apply, visit the Adult Services Desk during library hours to pick up an application or download and print/scan the application.
All adult volunteers are required to complete a background check form* and attend mandatory safety training.

Teen Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities are also available for middle school students in the Children’s Room and high school students in the Teen Room.
Minors must have a completed parent or guardian consent form.
