Nyack Library Museum Passes Policy
Loan Period & Rules
Passes are available to adult Nyack and Valley Cottage Library patrons 18 years and older, whose record is in good standing. A current Nyack or Valley Cottage Library card is required. The South Nyack Recital Series pass may only be checked out to Nyack card holders.
Families and individuals may borrow one pass at a time.
The loan period for a museum pass is three (3) days. Passes may not be renewed.
A late fee of $5 per day, up to the cost of the pass, will be imposed for every day the pass is overdue. The replacement cost for lost passes is the museum's charge to the library for a replacement pass.
How To Obtain a Pass
Call the Circulation Desk or stop by the Library to find out if a pass is available. You may also check availability in our online catalog by clicking here. We will hold a pass on reserve for one hour. No further reservations on passes will be made.
Passes MUST be returned to the Nyack Library Circulation Desk. For your convenience, the pass may be returned in the book drop, sealed in the plastic envelope with a rubber band.
Failure to abide by these regulations may result in forfeiture of borrowing privileges for museum passes.
Regulations may be revised at any time.
